Answering Surveys at HappyDot Became My Source of Extra Allowance

· Online Survey,Market Research,Singapore

Due to COVID-19, my school was forced to resort to doing online classes for this academic year. To admit, I was a bit irritated that this has happened because not only do I not see my friends, I also have to quit my part-time job as a student assistant. So, I am struggling to make ends meet. You must already have heard this story a lot of times this year since there are plenty of students who have been affected by the pandemic. But, let me tell you about my positive experience with online survey sites.

My mum has always described me as a resourceful person, meaning I always find a way to get things to work out for me. For a long time, I did not believe her. Until I was greatly affected by the pandemic.

As a university student, you must know that I do not get plenty of free time. With the compromise to make our classes online, I learned to manage my time better because I did not rely on bus schedules anymore. The fifteen minutes that I should have spent riding the bus, I spent it on answering surveys at HappyDot.sg! In this article, I will tell you all about how their paid surveys became my source of extra allowance for more or less than two months.

How did I discover HappyDot?

One thing you must know about me is that I am a Journalism student. So, it is natural for me to exert a lot of energy on research and get in tune with the current issues that Singapore is facing today. It should not come as a surprise that I get to read lots of articles and discover a lot of websites in a day. So, as I was searching for current social issues in Singapore, I also discovered HappyDot. At first, I was sceptical. I mean, who wouldn’t? It is a website that gives money to its visitors who can answer their surveys. When I dug up the internet about them, I discovered that they were, indeed, legitimate. So, I decided to make an account.

Qualifications to answer a paid survey

Of course, as much as we want to answer all the online paid surveys to earn more money, some of us are only qualified to answer a few. I get that HappyDot prioritises this because they would get more accurate data and results. Accuracy is crucial in research, I learned this from my best Journalism professor. And, I am impressed that HappyDot follows it and is strict about it.

To qualify for some surveys, some basic qualifications you should have are:

  • You are a Singapore citizen

  • You are 18 years old and above

  • You have free time

  • You have a phone/PC/tablet

  • You have a stable internet connection

These are some of the essential things you need to be and have before you can earn by answering online surveys in Singapore.

Answering surveys at HappyDot

Allow me to tell you about my experience of answering online surveys in HappyDot. Here are some qualities that I’ve observed when I answered their surveys:

  • Easy to understand

Instructions were clear that you would need more than five minutes to figure out what to do with their surveys. So, you could be quick to finish one in less than 10 minutes!

  • Fast pages

With their minimalistic website design, it wouldn’t take long to load their pages. It may be why they are considered one of the best survey sites in Singapore.

  • Timely surveys

A lot has been going on in the country at the moment, and I am glad I get to have my say in many of those issues. All thanks to the timely and relevant surveys of HappyDot!

  • Easy to access

When I need to go outside to run some errands, I can conveniently answer their online surveys using my phone! Easy access helps me maximise my time better.

  • They value privacy

As a Journalism student, I don’t want to just give my information just to anyone just as I get anonymous resources for my articles today and in the future. So, I am grateful that HappyDot values privacy and their declaration that my data is safe in their hands.

To be frank, I enjoy answering their surveys but they are a little short on some subjects that I expected for them to tackle as well. I hope that they can expand more on media literacy in the future.
